McCormick getting the start tonight!

Exciting double overtime game tonight against EKU but the Bears continue to take their lumps by losing another close one. Hopefully losses like these will pay dividends in the future.

Taylor is a beast but he is wearing down physically by taking on such a heavy load this season.

Yeah, Coach is shaping the future of this program and taking it in a really good direction. I agree about Taylor, he's playing hurt, but he is a beast!

I just hope he will stay around and another team doesn't snatch him away.

BTW...is there a way to post a twitter (X) link so that it shows the video in the feed? I've played around with everything I can think of and can't make it work.

    Nice to see him getting attention on X but big schools will likely be looking to poach him from our roster for sure.

    Bears pick up their first conference win today 71-65 over Bellarmine! Lane with a new career high of 29! He was 5-14 from 3 and 8-9 on FTs!

    Heck of a game from the Bears, finished strong and closed them out! These guys can play. Taylor is a killer. All played well but Mike’s hustle was so key.

    JoshUCA It took a bit, but I found an extension that seems to have added an automatic preview if you’re copy/pasting media links.

    Note that for some reason it didn’t automatically “fix” any posts that included media links prior to enabling the extension. For the ones above, I had to go edit them by adding [media][/media] around the link, submitting the update, and then going back in and deleting [media][/media] because it was actually displaying like this (so you don’t need to include that tag):

        Shhh, we don’t need word to get out…no for real though, Layne’s a beast. Let’s keep building under Schulman. He’s obviously got a good eye for talent.

        Tough loss at Stetson. I think Etim missing is hurting, but for some reason teams shoot 3s really well against us. Not sure if it’s defensive philosophy or what.

        And another loss against FGCU… Someday maybe they will be able to win a few more of these close games.

        Until that happens, I’m having a hard time seeing much difference between this season and previous seasons. 😕

        There is a huge difference! They may not be visible in the W/L column but the effort and quality of players across the team is definitely better than previous years. The issue is we are missing some key pieces with injuries and we are so young. If these guys hang around, we will definitely be building for success in the future.

        Yeah I’m optimistic if we can get everyone healthy. Etim being out is hurting our front court rotation and defense, once he’s back I could we us winning more close ones. Also, a legitimate 3rd scoring option would help. I can see McCormick getting better and becoming a consistent threat.
