Charlie76 UCA has always done more with what most would call less. Pre NIL and since its inception. NIL isn’t what most think it is. In most cases as it relates to football, it’s just paying highly rated players x amount of money before we really even know how good they are or aren’t. UCA has always done a great job of securing most all of the instate talent that doesn’t drink the Razorback Kool-Aid (as well as finding FBS talent in state and outside to transfer in who aren’t happy about not getting playing time or meaningful reps). So where it would be nice to have a 20M NIL fund, I think getting the best out of the talent we bring in every year will keep UCA more than competitive. Case in point….look at how many 3 STAR and P5 transfers we brought in this recruiting cycle. Nine.
And that doesn’t even include the five 3 STAR high school signees. I really do think we’ll continue to be just fine. Especially at the FCS level. Might be somewhat of an issue if we were to move up to the FBS but even then, I’m pretty sure UCA would make sure they could compete somewhere to close to with the others team of whichever conference they’d land in (most likely CUSA or Sun Belt).
