EKU

treyuca Same!

EKU is a good team (5-4). With two of the four losses coming to FBS schools. Plus they beat Tarleton this past week. Most schools would and should have a problem getting a win against a week 11 EKU team. I see out Bears being no different. Especially being as banged up as we are. UCA is the better team overall and will be determined to win out so they can make the playoffs. I see us winning by 7-10. We've never beat EKU at their place so we'll have to have a first to keep our playoff hopes alive after the disappointing upset loss to UTU.

Do you really believe they will lose out or are you angry with recent performances and hoping they lose out? Serious question. Because all three remaining games are tough games but winnable.

Did anyone attend this week's Bear Backers meeting or hear the coach's show?

Gready I think they get blown out saturday and the season goes completely off the rails. The ONLY reason that might not be the case is if Powell is 100% which gives them the ability to bail out Collums. I doubt he can be 100% given the nature of the injury.

How can these coaches have this much talent and produce results like this? It's unfair to the players. I thought the ACU loss was a tough one to take. But the last loss to UTAH TECH? Ugh. I can't even predict how we will do against EKU now..

Well…..we will see. We're definitely into the harder part of our schedule and having key players hurt or limited doesn't help. I don't see things going completely off the rails with a EKU win or loss. If we decide to be less predictive on both sides of the ball we can easily win all of the next three games. That indeed is on coach Brown and his staff. We have the talent and I think we have enough good coaching staff leaders to keep UCA nationally ranked and competing for conference championship year in and year out.

Gready I think either one would be a dramatic improvement over what we have now. :-)

10 FIRST QUARTER POINTS!

Everyone here seems to be focused on the offense. Am I the only one that thinks we look too big and too slow in the back half of the defense (and special teams)?

i think the 3 and outs but a lot of stress on that D. but i agree, that could be better as well

and another special team's misstep.

Not good that Powell wasn’t able to finish that run like he would have if healthy. But really nice to see what Meyers is capable of after that.
