They played very well at Missouri and Arkansas. Followed up by an outstanding performance vs State and then a 3 game sweep in the tournament. Their downfall started with the Hendrix game. Even though it was an easy win, they played a sloppy game. Coach Kemper even said so during Bear Backers. Then they go to Little Rock and pretty much didn’t compete in the second half, especially in the 4th quarter. Got a road win at Grambling and then played a good half at La Tech before struggling to get any offense going in the second.
Coach has 3 steady players on his roster with a couple more that play well for short periods and then disappear. They are defensively really consistent and that will keep them in a good position to win games. Hopefully they can improve on the other end.
