Don’t really think it’s all about guts…I’m sure all the players are fully committed, but some of them don’t have a skill set to make a contribution. Watching the warmup before the start of the 3rd quarter, they were missing layups against ( AIR ) . I have serious concerns about how some of these players are even on the roster. There’s one player who can finish at the rim with contact and that’s Littleford. Bree is also fairly reliable and they are both seniors. FGCU defended very well and contested the 3 point line consistently which further highlights our inability to score in the paint. Coach needs to find an inside player moving forward…there’s not one currently on the roster.
