Jmb3125 I don’t think that every fan has to see things my way at all. I spoke to those that have nothing good to say ever about UCA football as to being “UCAhaters”. Please reread what I said. I recognized the fans that can be critical of the football program from those that don’t appear to be fans but rather haters. Just like you said, some aren’t genuine fans. It is your opinion that most of them probably are. Maybe our point of disagreement is what constitutes being a genuine fan.
And as to your comment about me wearing my particular shade of rose colored glasses, we all most certainly wear our own shade. You, me, and everyone else. What is unique to my shade is that I can be critical and objective about the program while ALSO pointing out what’s going well. I can pick UCA to lose games and talk about the need for improvement just as a hater would. With the difference being that as a genuine fan and supporter, I don’t feel the need to make every comment a negative one. I can see the glass as half empty and half full. If those kind of comments/replies aren’t your cup of tea as for how you see my rose colored glasses, I’m okay with that. What I do hope is that you and I both want to see the best possible product on the field and more wins than losses.
