This is my second season to follow Central Arkansas football. It seems to me that we have a group of talented young men who haven’t figured out how to compete on a consistent basis. They have flashes of outstanding play, and then seem to go in a rabbit hole for whatever reason. It’s like we are one or two injuries away from being a solid top 25 team or being of no relevance. The offensive philosophy appears to be more finesse than physical imo even though they controlled the line of scrimmage very well last game. I’m not a good judge of talent for sure but it seems to me to be a mindset of the top programs that they are going to find a way to win. Not going to be pushed around, especially at home.
Maybe TSU has more talent or maybe they don’t. When it’s 3rd and 3 they better dig deep and get a 1st down. Most games swing on just a few plays. We will see Saturday what possibly make or break the season.
Will be there regardless, rooting on the Bears.
