Sugar Bears played hard but GC is such a balanced team on both ends of the court. Their talent and quickness is ridiculous for this level of women’s competition. They need to move on to a different league.
Defensively, they were so tight on us it’s like they were inside our jerseys. Their offensive speed and scoring accuracy is just jaw dropping. We were outscored 38-18 in the paint.
I really hated to see Jade reduced to a highlight reel early in the game on defense.
Still, a superb season for us by UCA standards.
