Gready Does anyone know if the spring game is still scheduled for this coming Saturday, 12 Apr? And if so what time? Excited to see what this new team (lots of starters to replace on both sides of the ball) will look like.
Gready JoshUCA Thanks for the reply. I couldn’t find the time in my searching so I called the athletic department this morning to find out when. I wish it would have been advertised more but none the less, I’ll be there. Excited to see what this revamped squad looks like on both sides of the ball.
Bigpurplebear The last two years we came in the season fairly strong with high hopes and just lost momentum towards the end. This year I’d like to see the opposite happen. Got to make the playoffs. I’m curious what the offense looks like. A change was needed.
Bigpurplebear JoshUCA I asked one of the Vilonia coaches about him. He said Myers clocked in on a laser at 4.69 in the 40 at a camp. Said he is freakishly more athletic than he looks. This could be a fun year!!

Gready Bigpurplebear Nobody stood out to me. Plus I think some of the jersey numbers were off. So it was hard to tell who was actually out there when trying to compare it to the updated online roster. I will say that the majority of what I think were first and second string WRs looked the part height and physique wise. Definitely taller across the board. In contrast, it looks like Manny Smith is being used at WR and out the backfield as pass catching RB.
Mulerider Very disappointed in the athletic department for not advertising this more. There needs to be a change in the Sports Information Director. Maybe we should grab ATU’s guy. I’ve heard he is pretty good.
Jmb3125 Mulerider I understand that our current SID is retiring this year. That may help a lot as long as they pick a replacement that’s actually tech savvy.
