Spring Practice
You beat me to posting this. I’m excited about the coaching changes. Most excited about our change at DC and the new fresh blood to help Nathan out on the offensive side of things. No disrespect to Coach Collums but I believe he was my OC back in 2001. We needed new schemes, approaches, and/or ideas. And unfortunately Coach Stewart seemed to struggle with during game adjustments. I wish him the best in retirement. Can’t wait to see how it all starts to come together this spring.
Anyone know if Trejan is coming back now that he gets another year after the the new JUCO ruling?
Gready I don’t think he was juco. I haven’t heard anything on the front but I’m curious as well.
He was definitely JUCO the year before coming to us. He even made a comment on his X account about being granted another year. Just haven’t heard any word to if he’s sticking with us or looking to move up to what he sees as greener pastures.
Excited to see how the Defensive Game is changed this year. Being 70th in FCS for Scoring Defense (69th overall defense) can really hurt. Even when you are 23rd in Scoring Offense (14th in overall offense).
That Utah Tech game was pretty sad as well. That shouldn’t of been like that. Even the West Georgia win was ugly.
Yeah you are right I missed that juco year after OU. I did see the twitter post, but heard it might have not been 100% for sure. Sure hope we get him. Solid player!

Trejan included in the graphic promoting pro day on Twitter so that may have answered that.
NewBearFan I was just about to post and say the same. Well, I wish him the best of luck. He has the tools. And truth be told, with the returning WRs and what UCA signed, we should be just fine. Just would have been nice to have another returning WR of Trejan’s caliber. Well…..next man up.

That’s kinda what I expected. He was waiting for some official word on his status. Sad to see him go, but it is the new reality we live in with college sports.

JoshUCA Was in uniform? Does that mean he played in the game. I was there but can’t recall if he played in the game. Maybe he was about to lose his position or was going to be splitting time and didn’t like that idea. Whatever the reason, I wish him well. I personally will never take issue with a player leaving if it’s truly what’s best for them.
Gready nah, he played. he was arguably the best OL on the roster.
