Well…..we will see. We're definitely into the harder part of our schedule and having key players hurt or limited doesn't help. I don't see things going completely off the rails with a EKU win or loss. If we decide to be less predictive on both sides of the ball we can easily win all of the next three games. That indeed is on coach Brown and his staff. We have the talent and I think we have enough good coaching staff leaders to keep UCA nationally ranked and competing for conference championship year in and year out.

Everyone here seems to be focused on the offense. Am I the only one that thinks we look too big and too slow in the back half of the defense (and special teams)?

Two receivers and three defenders in the area. It was underthrown but something doesn’t seem right about that.

treyuca I went back and looked. It initially thought it was a 1 on 1 throw and two receivers ended up in the exact same area and so did their defenders. Something was definitely off and it wasn’t just the throw.

Looks like Myers is out. Guessing a concussion. He was not in his pads. That’s why they didn’t go for it on 4th down.

Not having Powell changes the game. He took off down the field and let up on what would have been a touchdown any other time. I said 3 games ago you’ve got to get some of these dudes reps. Myers and Chambers was two of them. Myers under threw a ball into double coverage, but I thought he started to look comfortable as the game went on. 3rd and 25 long ran for 20 yards when he took the hit trying to get the first down. Probably should have just slid. We could have gone for it on 4th down. Initially I questioned the coaches decision to kick it from that far, but Myers was out. Injuries just imploded us quickly.

According to a friend who knows the fam it looks like he separated his shoulder. Both Mcelvain and Myers with shoulder injuries.

Had to create a new account, but the past few seasons I’ve said the same damn thing. This staff is not the answer, if you want to be a subpar team then this staff is perfect! We need Briscoe and Conque and staff back, we need them assholes(figure of speech) that had the players playing with that DAWG in them. Those teams had a chip on their shoulder and this imma hit you in the mouth first before I get hit attitude.
