Looks like Zeb Allen will be a Razorback after all. I can’t believe he was’nt drafted by a MLB team after playing his final season eith the Bears. It’s true that he only has average speed, with an average arm but is a very dependable outfielder. However Zeb has a very high baseball IQ and is a winner. I can’t see where they would pass on his offensive stats with 17 HRS, 53 RBIS and .310 BA. The pros signed Ruiz and Aloy from the Hogs and their numbers were’nt nearly as good as Zeb’s. I thought he would surely sign as a free agent but maybe he’s making more from the Hogs with his NIL money. I’m assuming that he had an agreement with Van Horn that if he could’nt sign for more money than he could make in NIL that he would stay in college for his senior year. Since the NCAA passed the 5 for 5 deal for college sports this 4th year in college won’t hurt him. I hope he plays lights out for the Hogs like Charles Davalan did in 2024 when he went from FGCU to the Hogs and was taken in the 1st round in the MLB draft.
