I feel sorry for Lindenwood. They are going to bear the brunt of this teams frustrations and I fear it isn't going to be pretty. Plus revenge from that 2022 game…

You're right. I should have been more specific. I was talking primarily about QB and RB. Especially at the end, we were getting some other defensive guys reps. I wish we'd have done the same with the offensive side.

In the last three years, pass attempts by someone not named McElvain (and that were not a trick play with a RB/WR):
2024 - 0 thru two games
2023 - 5 attempts by Austin Meyers; a season that included 70-2 and 52-17 wins
2022 - 21 attempts by Clifton McDowell; wins of 49-20, 51-24, 64-29, 34-7

At the end of the Lindenwood game, while up 34-13, we close it out with ShunDerrick, ShunDerrick, Darius, kneel down.

treyuca I agree 1000%. The folks I’ve talked to inside the program have said Myers is the real deal, but his reps have been so limited because we can’t seem to take care of business. If Mcelvain goes down we are playing with fire because he has gotten almost every single rep for 3 straight years. I’ve always been a fan of Will’s, but there has been some miscues this season and moments I was ready to see Myers. You could hear rumbles of it at ASU in the crowd the first half.

Just my lowly .02 cents, but we better start thinking about the future. Hopefully we see him Saturday. The future is literally one injury away and this season could end up a very special one.
