It was a pretty confusing game.
They go up 14. We score 17. They score the next TWENTY-ONE. And we answer with 14 and had a chance to tie or win it in the end.
We had 514 yards of offense. They had just 293 - yet it still felt like our defense almost never stopped them. Our receivers made some ridiculous catches. To me the difference was the turnovers. Though it’s hard to blame Myers - in his first start and with how the rest of his stats are - or Chambers who had 200+ yards of offense.
I’m having a hard time knowing what to make of it. Am I happy we showed offensive improvement and had a chance to win the game? Maybe? I don’t know.
Oh, and that broadcast crew was rough. They obviously did little or no research to have no idea who Myers was and to call Chambers the wrong name (after he had carried the ball 25+ times earlier in the game).
