Sugarbears took on Austin Peay in Clarksville, TN today came away with a 51-50 win! Looks like (according to the stats) they did it without Mafua.

A strong 2nd half leads UCA over Queens, 68-50. Abiara with a double-double (14 pts, 12 rbs)! Sugarbears improve to 15-6, 9-1 on the season!

Sugar Bears keep on winning. 11 straight. Get through Saturday and I think one of the biggest regular season games in history next Thursday.

NewBearFan $1 tickets. Nice.$ $2 hot dogs? Um. No. Those things are nasty. Boiled in water and left to float for hours is what they taste like. That and they are tin foil wrapped and crushed. Don’t bring someone for the hot dogs. Buy them one at a gas station. They taste better there. 🙂 Seriously.

It was not pretty! I see why FGCU is undefeated in conference! They came in with something to prove and proved it.

It was strange to see Jade really struggle 0 for 8 tonight. Maybe we will get another shot at them in the conference tournament.

I underestimated how good FGCU would be this year. Felt like they’d backslidden some, but nope. Eagles are legit.

Sent this talented group of seniors out with a win on senior day against UWG (72-62). Two more on the road before the conference tournament!

Sugarbears drop their final regular season game on the road to UNA. 56-66. Looks like there may have been a little homerism as we were only 2-3 at the FT line while UNA was 12-15! Didn’t help that we were only 2-13 from 3 while they were 8-18.

Oh well still the 2 seed in the conference tournament coming up! Go Sugarbears!
