Jmb3125 I understand that coach Schulman is more offensive minded, which is good. But how hard is it tighten up a little more on the perimeter? I think that could have turned a few of our closer losses into wins, IMO…
MountainBear A lot of it could be freshman inexperience and a brand new team. Calling out screens and switches is harder snd getting lost on D is more common in freshman. But, the data shows our team got better offensively throughout the year and worse offensively. We also had to go deep into the reserves and play Dehrmann and Thomas, not the best defenders at this point of their career.
MountainBear What a game! Getting a tourney win here is so good for this team to build momentum. 37 pts and 11 rebounds is crazy for Nemo. If he comes back with all of our other returning talent we will be gunning for the tourney for sure.
MountainBear Season with a lot of adversity, but a lot to build off of. A lot to be excited about for next year.
MountainBear Not surprised to see Turner hit the portal, and since Etim was an academic senior, not surprised either there. Hoping one or both will stay though. Schulman and staff seems to have an eye for talent though so they’ll do alright.
Jmb3125 Guess I’m not surprised. The perceived Greener Pastures are too much for athletes to resist. This will always be the case a until the NCAA fixes this portal BS. Can’t wait to see who jumps ship next. Taylor anyone?
