Injury bug

Bears have had the injury bug for sure. Glad we got McCormick back but Etim was out with a concussion from practice. Noting the current injuries I know of here, anyone know of more?

McCormick returned from turf toe

Etim out with concussion - not sure when he’ll be back

Robinson - Medical RS, leg injury

West - Broken hand, hopefully back soon

Taylor def has a sore shoulder with the brace on, still balled out

Not sure about anyone else? I’ve heard up to 6 guys were hurt at one point, but I’ve only know about McCormick and Etim. Guy-King, West, or Robinson?

I know Robinson injured his foot (I believe) in preseason. Coach had said he hopes to have him back for conference play. So hopefully he will be back soon.

Central Arkansas made it official: MBB freshman Ty Robinson will take a medical redshirt this season.

The Lake Hamilton grad has been dealing with a leg injury dating back to camp. He played 30 minutes between two games the opening week but hasn't dressed since.

HC John Shulman: "We will always do what is best for our student-athletes, and what is best for Ty Robinson is to get his body healthy and to redshirt. I hate it for him and our team but his future is bright and we wil do whatever is best for Ty."

Hate to hear it, hopefully he can take the year and come back stronger. Updated my list, saw where West has had a broken hand.

It seems like Etim had quite a concussion, missing his 5th game tonight, last played last year. Hope he’s okay.

Edit: He played a few minutes tonight at UNF, so guess he’s getting back in shape. Glad he’s back.

I really hate that injuries have taken a toll on Coach’s first season at the helm. However, I love his passion and how he takes a true leader’s position and gives credit to these kids for how hard they are working and how much they are improving.
