cfbevaluator To your asking, I’m saying that I’m specific to what I say and what I don’t say. I’m objective and can explain ANY position I take. What I think you are referring to is when you or others can’t see I’m being objective vs thinking I’m taking a side of defense. Look no further than our exchange here. I took no position of being right or thinking I’m right. I asked to compare the stats from our game vs FSU versus Virginia playing FSU. Then asked that people consider suspending judgement to how bad we are or aren’t until IF we start losing. That’s reasonable. That’s not telling people they are wrong or that I’m right.
Honestly, I’m of the opinion that social media has ruined people’s ability to effectively communicate or comprehend what’s said. Everything isn’t an attack or getting defensive. People just can’t see that clearly. That’s my take. As always, feel free to disagree. As to the evaluation of this program…going from 2024 to present day isn’t enough. I’ve already made points elsewhere that a strong argument should be made to dismiss Nathan if he doesn’t basically have a wining record this year. I could have been on board for letting him go last year but I understand that our QB situation tanked things unexpectedly. I blame Nathan ultimately because he’s the HC but I can also see how some things beyond his control shouldn’t be the end all to his time as HC (referring to how things ended last year).
As I’ve been said, I’ll be one of first to say he gotta go if things don’t get better by end of season. I think I said he needs at least a winning season or a 6-6 season having beaten Tarleton or Austin Peay. Hope that answers your question(s). If not, I don’t know what else to say to you.
