Watched the game.
Grades:
Offense: A- gotta dock points for pick 6, but after that marched all over the field
Defense: A only allowed 17 points on the road to the preseason OVC favorite. Allowed some long gashes up the middle but forced 2 TOs and made big stops.
Special Teams: D+ burn the tape! 2 blocked PATs and a muffed hold. Not an F because Caleb Jones looks money again though. No big returns allowed and McKown looks to be a weapon again on Punt Return, so there is some promise.
Overall: A get a win on the road against the OVC favorite coming off a tough season. Coaches and teams besides special teams hiccups looks really strong.
Looks like Arlie Lee and Bryson Adamoh were banged up during the game but with the gap between games they can heal up. Looking forward to West Florida.
