This isn’t a one-year slump. This is a multi-year pattern. Brown inherited a strong foundational program. He had support, resources, time, and continuity, and the result is a program that has fallen backward, not forward.
At some point, patience becomes acceptance of mediocrity. At some point, loyalty turns into enabling. At some point, a university has to decide whether it’s serious about football or doesn’t care what product it puts on the field.
Bottom Line - Nathan Brown simply hasn’t done the job. Not at a championship level. Not at a conference-contending level. Not even at a consistently competitive level. UCA deserves better. The players deserve better. The fans deserve better.
