It’s that time of year again, the roster for this season was released. It’s crazy to think how much has changed for the program since last summer. We’re returning the majority of what was undoubtedly the best team and season we’ve ever had at the D1 level. Truly a program changing season.

Cam Hunter will always be a Bear legend for what he did in an amazing senior year this last year, and will surely be missed, but we get most of the guys back, and Shulman and staff have built a strong foundation for to continue building on.

For the returnees, getting back Ty, Cole, Luke, and Mal is huge. Gives us 4 returning starters from a 22-win team conference championship team that was a bucket away from the Big Dance. Beauchamp as a big 6-5 skilled G off the bench was part of what made the Bears so deep last year, and really glad we got him back as well.

For new additions, 6–10 Tucker Anderson is the headliner as we add another returning conference Freshman of the Year. He is a perimeter oriented big who has a lot of offensive skill. Camarrion Bead (aka CB) looks like he watched his big brother play ball as he plays a lot like Cam Hunter. 6-6 Isaiah Templeton, 6-4 RJ Young, and 6-9 Saadi look like quality adds. It will be interesting to see 6-8 Hoerner’s development as a prep school as like Marable.

We also have some redshirt players like Newton and Marshall that may play consistently with Shulman’s deep bench approach.

Overall, get your tickets early because I think it’s going to be another really fun year, and we should be among the favorites for UAC champs. Amazing job by Shulman and staff to keep the core of the team together and add even more talent.
